Against the advice from our friends, family and extended family, the No Cover Band has accepted more gigs than we most likely can handle in 2011. We aren’t broken but the cracks are starting to show. Come check us out before we completely break down.
We will be at the Roundup on 4/8. All of you local yokels, townies, members of the No Cover Nation and Roundup season ticket holders will receive free admission to the Roundup, back stage passes and have unlimited access to all the drinks you pay for…
We have some surprisingly cool gigs lined up for 2011. We will open for Zoo Station as well as one of our heroes Paul Collins from the Nerves and Paul Collins Band. For info on the 2011 World Tour hit the link below.

Hope to see you amongst ‘um…
The bar night for the class of 1980 reunion is scheduled for 9/24 at the Roundup Saloon.
As previously stated, the social chairmen for the class of 1980, Mr. Page and Mr. Black, are either true visionaries or have exhibited an extraordinary lack of judgment in asking the No Cover Band to play this event. We will need to review the police blotters on 9/25 to determine if their choice of entertainment was a good decision.
Given the enormous size of the No Cover Nation and the number of out of town guests confirmed for the reunion, the Roundup has secured a permit form the City of Lafayette to fence off the parking lot in order to accommodate the anticipated crowd. (I am not popping off. OK, I am popping off about the size of the No Cover Nation, but not about the permit the Roundup secured.)
For anyone who grew up in the East Bay and went to High School in the early 80’s, this will prove to be one of the largest concentrations of people from your past gathered in one area. If you have not done so already, make plans to secure a hotel room or couch, play your get out of jail cards with your significant other and purchase ample amounts of Advill so you can enjoy what should be an evening to remember.
As Members of the No Cover Nation you will receive free admission to the Roundup, back stage passes and have unlimited access to all the drinks you pay for…
All joking aside, we guarantee that it will be the greatest night of your life. Ok, maybe not the greatest night of your life, but there is a high probability that at least twice you will laugh hard enough where beer comes out your nose.

Looking forward to seeing you amongst ‘em on 9/24.
Due to an extended business trip in Rwanda and perpetual pneumonia, the No Cover Band will be forced to cancel the 5/5 gig at St. Mary’s College and the 5/8 gig at the Roundup.
We will return to the Roundup to subject the masses to hearing loss, temporary loss of their moral compass and a guaranteed good time on the dates listed below:
June 18th
August 20th
September the 24th
Of special note, the 9/24 gig is the Acalanes Class of 1980 reunion. This is the “bar night” that takes place the night before the real reunion. We are really looking forward to this one….
We suggest that you mark this one down in your calendars, secure a baby sitter and prepare for an outstanding evening.

Best!!!
Against our better judgment, the No Cover Band has decided to continue playing in 2010. We are approaching our expiration date, so come see us before we pack it in. Here is what we have booked thus far for 2010…
Roundup Saloon on 3/12
This is a Friday night. We will go on around 9 and end between 1 and 2AM.
Saint Mary’s
Cinco de Mayo Festival on 5/5
We will go on a 12:30 and play for about an hour and a half. Playing in the middle of the day is odd for us, however it beats going to work.
Roundup Saloon on 5/8
This will be a Saturday Night. We will go on
around 9 and end between 1 and 2AM.
